About Project

Title : Electrochemical synthesis of multifunctional (magnetic and electrocatalytic) films of nanostructured rhenium superalloys deposits

Project ID : 1233494

Call : MSCA4Ukraine

The starting date : 01 April 2023

Project duration : 24 months

The MSCA4Ukraine Programme of the European Commission is implemented by a consortium comprised of Scholars at Risk Europe hosted at Maynooth University, Ireland (project coordinator), the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the European University Association, with the French national PAUSE programme, hosted by the Collège de France, and the global Scholars at Risk Network participating as associated partners.
The MSCA4Ukraine scheme opened for applications in October 2022. In February 2023, fellowship awards were issued to 124 ukrainian researchers in 21 host countries.
MSCA4Ukraine is funded by the European Union.

Fellow: Habil.dr. Oksana Bersirova

Research Interests of dr.O.Bersirova: Development of theoretical foundations for controlling the process of electrochemical formation of functional deposits (on the example of silver, gold, alloys of refractory metals (W, Mo, Re) with metals of the iron subgroup (Fe, Co, Ni)) based on a comprehensive study of the discharge of coordination ions of various nature and determination conditions of a stably sustainable regime of the process of functional electrodeposition of metals and alloys. Development of a set of scientifically based structural and technological methods for obtaining competitive materials for modern microelectronics and energy.

O.Bersirova is author about 200 scientific publication, including monography. She has Leadership Experience in different programs, enhanced qualifications under fellowships in foreign universities in Poland, Norway, France and Lithuania.
O.Bersirova was awarded by Boris Paton National Award / State prize of Ukraine in science and technology; A.I. Brodsky Prize of the NAS of Ukraine; BMU-Award: International Award of the Three Academies , etc.
